Hi! I am a first-year PPE student, and I’m very excited to be the new Deputy editor-in-chief for this year’s run of Pharos. Given my interdisciplinary course, the areas where themes overlap and intersect are what I find the most fascinating. This stems from my particular interest in political philosophy, studying the concepts of liberty with Locke, the state with Pascal, justice with Rawls, etc. I see Pharos as a way to freely discuss and develop some of those ideas and share them with the rest of our community.
This year, I am involved in running the magazine’s day-to-day operations, such as editing pieces of philosophy, liaising with the authors, and structuring the general team organisation.
